Human Sciences
World Citizen Profile and Administration Concentration
The educational plan in the Human Sciences program is intended to promote the development of attitudes and skills needed for critical thinking. The program helps the student develop his* ability to take a position and be able to debate it, his independence and creativity, and encourages openness to the world. The Séminaire de Sherbrooke offers excellent preparation for university or the labour market.
Arts and Letters
Theatre Profile
This pre-university program prepares a student for a wide range of university programs in the area of Arts and Letters. It offers an initiation therefore into the area of Arts and Letters. It is not intended as a technical apprenticeship nor as mastery of practice, but is rather an introduction to both.
The International Baccalaureate
Human Sciences and Natural Sciences Profile
The international baccalaureate (the baccalauréat intérnational or B.I.) is a collegial study cycle that lasts two years. It is intended to promote international understanding and to ensure a rigorous, diversified and balanced education. This program is offered in some 720 schools in 94 countries. The major universities around the world, including those in the Province of Quebec, recognize it as a program that prepares students very thoroughly for higher education.
